There are so many times when things and situations seem to press in on us and our spirits get down. We look here and we look there for answers, for a release for our souls and the heavens seem silent. But there is One who knows every desire of our heart, every word that we whisper and our every cry in the night. For those of you who are in this seemingly silent place right now, I would like to share a few verses of scripture with you.
"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary and young men (women) stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:28-31
I trust that this encouragement from the Lord will cause you to rise up and soar again. Soar high, yes even higher and trust the Lord to take care of the temporary things that crush and damage our hearts and spirits here on earth.
